UnboundB2B is a B2B lead generation company based in San Francisco, California. It provides end-to-end sales services for enterprises and technology companies from database management to appointment setting through targeted account-based marketing (ABM) programs.
The Challenges They Had
UnboundB2B is a reputable company with decent visibility but they were not getting the ROI they desired from their existing marketing efforts.
The client approached us with the goal of ranking their website on page one of Google for money-making keywords.
So, we decided to focus on service keywords for this particular client, as they are generally more competitive and have a higher conversion rate than other types of keywords.
How Did We Help?

Content Optimization Approach
The first step in our process was to conduct a thorough audit of the client’s website to see what was working well and what needed to be improved.

Link Building Strategy

The client wanted us to leave no stones unturned in the pursuit of their business objectives. So, we made sure to source high-quality backlinks from relevant pieces of content from reputable sources that were a natural fit for the subject matter.
This helped the client rank for service keywords like “content syndication,” which is another important revenue-generating service that UnboundB2B offers.
To get this post ranking on the #9th position in Google search results, we sourced backlinks from industry leaders like the Content Marketing Institute (CMI). You can check it out here.
Also, we used keyword-rich anchor text for the backlink to make it more authoritative.
Other than building backlinks to their blog posts, we also focused on getting UnboundB2B brand mentions from different sources, including listicles like this one:
Thanks to our efforts, UnboundB2B was able to achieve their desired results and rank on page one of Google for a number of service keywords, including “account-based marketing,” “B2B sales leads,” and “B2B appointment setting services.”
We managed to help the client rank in the top 10 search results for nine money-making keywords related to B2B marketing.
Within just a few months of us working with the client, they were also getting high-quality traffic from other targeted keywords that were relevant to their business.
This resulted in an overall 3X growth in their organic traffic.
While we sourced a lot of backlinks from high-authority websites for UnboundB2B, a lot of recently-published content pieces got cited naturally because they included in-depth information on the subject matter.
Together, this helped double the number of backlinks to their website.
